Alberta royalty invoice
Vertex has released an automated process to import and create accounting entries for the provincial royalty on gas and liquids. The transactions are validated at the well or Unit level of detail for product royalties (including amendments), with options to add entries at a property or corporate level for GCA, injection credits, processing fee adjustments, etc. Producers requested the enhancement to achieve improved quality assurance on the allocation of royalty charges, and to eliminate the risks associated with spreadsheet solutions.
