Oil and Gas Activities Act – OGAA

Implemented in October 2010, the OGAA is the new regulatory framework for BC’s oil and gas industry. It aims to encourage safe and responsible development by promoting environmental and social responsibility.

BC Oil and Gas Commission Information Bulletin Board

Information Bulletins (IB) disseminate information updates to all Commission stakeholders. IBs are process or practice changes, not changes in regulatory requirements. They announce a variety of topics including updated Commission publications such as manuals and guidelines via the Commission website and clarification of previously published materials.
